Having completed a Bachelor of Teaching (Secondary) from Deakin University, along with a Bachelor of Arts with a Major in Dance and a Minor in Drama, I've cultivated a diverse educational background. Additionally, I hold a Diploma of Event Management from Holmesglen Institute and a Diploma of Arts in Small Companies and Community Theatre from Swinburne University of Technology.

 

In terms of my employment history, I've been teaching at Merici Catholic College since 2020, where I've been actively involved in Drama, Dance, Performing Arts, and Visual Arts education. Prior to this, I taught at O'Loughlin Catholic College in the Northern Territory from 2017 to 2019, where my responsibilities included teaching Drama, Visual Arts, Creative Arts, and Woodwork. I also spent a brief period at Bakewell Primary School in the Northern Territory in 2017, where I taught Performing Arts, Visual Arts, and Physical Education.

Prior to my formal teaching positions, I gained valuable experience as a relief teacher with ANZUK in Victoria in 2016. These experiences have equipped me with a comprehensive skill set and a deep understanding of various educational contexts.

 

My interests in drama and dance emerged at an early age, as I undertook regular classes in Calisthenics throughout my schooling years. This experience led to a familiarity with stage performance and a growing curiosity in all elements of theatre production. Since graduating from high school, I have enjoyed developing my skills in contemporary dance, confident in my theoretical foundations and physical aptitude.

 

Furthermore, my interactions with children in various parts of the world during my travels have underscored the importance of education for societal stability and progression, fuelling my passion for teaching.
